Information stored on your device
Tarolla does not require an account. Your questions, drawn card identifiers and orientations, reading timestamps, daily-card result and Analytics choice are stored in your browser's local storage so the site can remember a completed draw and enforce its once-per-day limit on that browser and device.
This reading information is not submitted to Tarolla's servers. You can remove it by clearing this site's browser data. Clearing it may also reset saved readings and daily limits on that device.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you select “Accept Analytics.” If accepted, Tarolla records page views and anonymous interaction events such as whether a spread was started or completed, the spread slug, the number of cards and whether a daily card was drawn. Google may also process standard technical information such as device, browser, approximate location and IP-derived data under its own policies.
Your typed question, selected card identities and orientations, reading result and any personal reflection are not sent to Google Analytics. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation are disabled in Tarolla's consent settings.
Where consent is the applicable legal basis, Analytics processing relies on your consent. You may withdraw it at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer. Tarolla then stops future Analytics events and attempts to remove accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site. Google's retention and international processing practices are governed by its configuration and privacy terms.
Third-party resources
The site currently requests tarot card images from Wikimedia Commons and web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser connects to those providers, they may receive ordinary connection data such as your IP address, browser details and request time. Their own privacy policies govern that processing.
Sharing and sale of information
Tarolla does not sell personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers described above as needed to deliver the site or, for Analytics, after consent, or where disclosure is required by law.
Children and policy changes
Tarolla is not directed to children under 16. This policy may be updated when the site, its providers or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are published.
